🐶 Getting the Dose Right Matters

For most pets, a good starting amount is:

1 mg of CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight

We recommend giving that amount twice daily, about 12 hours apart.

For example:

A 20 pound pet would start with 2 mg twice daily

A 10 pound pet would start with 1 mg twice daily

The goal is not to give as much as possible.

The goal is to find the amount your pet responds to.

🐾 Using Our Full Spectrum Dog Chews

Each Full Spectrum Dog Chew contains 2 mg of CBD.

That means:

20 pound pet: 1 chew twice daily

10 pound pet: ½ chew twice daily

For cats, we recommend our Isolate CBD Tincture because it is odorless and flavorless.

💧 For Larger or Pickier Pets

If your pet weighs more than 30 pounds, or simply refuses to cooperate with treats, our Full Spectrum CBD Oil or ZERO THC Isolate CBD Oil may be easier.

With our 600 mg bottle, each drop contains approximately 0.5 mg of CBD.

For example:

A 60 pound dog would start with 12 drops twice daily.

At that amount, one bottle lasts approximately 100 days.

Drops can be placed directly onto a treat or mixed into your pet’s food.

✨ What If I Am Not Seeing a Difference?

Give the starting amount about 3 to 4 days.

If you do not notice meaningful improvement, your pet may simply need more CBD before their body recognizes the amount.

At that point, slowly increase the dose until you can see that it is working.

Once you find the amount that works:

Stay there as long as your pet is doing well.

🌿 Sometimes Less Becomes More

Over time, you may notice that symptoms start returning even though your pet is still taking the same amount.

Interestingly, that can sometimes mean they are now getting too much CBD.

As their system begins to balance, their body may need less than it did before.

If that happens, slowly reduce the amount until they start feeling better again.

Sometimes it can even help to skip a dose or two and give their system a chance to reset.
